Thousands of Jews storm the Western Wall to pray against the Israeli governments plan to withdraw from settlements in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. On August 15 the Israeli government is to begin to withdraw Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Approximately 1,700 families are to be evacuated over two days from August 15 to August 17.
