Member of the IDF is rinsed off with water as he exits synagogue after being sprayed with chemicals. The Israeli Defense Force and Police used maximum restraint in the evacuation of the Kefar Darom Synagogue following a standoff that began earlier this morning. Radical settlers barricaded themselves in the Synagogue using furniture and barbed wire, throwing paint and other items at the forces as they gained entry.
